| Jimmy Buffett, Walnut Creek, NC, April 23rd 2009 |
| Finally our 1st Buffett Concert; and yes the tickets were hard to get. Dottie and I spent about 2 1/2 hours on 3 cell phones and 2 computers, but it did pay off. Not only did we get tickets but we got 11th row. For the "Parrot Heads" it's not a concert but an all day party. People wear wild outfits, swimsuits, parrot and shark hats, camp shirts, and bikinis. And travel hours to attend as many concerts as possible, it almost a religion. Their cars, campers, and RVs are outfitted and stocked for the all day party. There are complete with TIKI bars, swimming pools, elaborate grills, and even refrigeration! | |

![]() Obviously Jimmy was trying to say something to me at the end of the concert. |
| Jimmy will be 63 this year and looks and sounds great. Afterall just his brand ( Margaritaville ) brings in over 100 million dollars alone. Probably another 50 or so million from recording and concerts. He is listed as 7th on the rock and rolls richest performers list. I've never seen so many people, a good number of them well baked, at any concert. Jimmy did the whole concert in a swimsuit, t-shirt and barefoot. Who wouldn't want to be Jimmy Buffett for a day... or so? | |
