Christmas 2008 in St. Louis, MO.
What can I say about 2008, it was the year of change. We have a grandson, so we are now a Grammie and Grampie. I have new job, and I am doing what I did 20 years ago, fixing equipment. Dottie who recently started working full time, retires. We moved from gray and snowy Webster, NY to sunny and balmy North Carolina. We have a new home and live in a town named Willow Spring. And most of this happened in the last 8 months! They say what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. I tend to be spending more money on alcohol.
But it was a really good year in that we are doing what we set out to do and we can almost sit back a little and try to enjoy it even more. With all that said I would like to share some of the recent "goings on" around here and get you up-to-date. Dax is just a little over 7 mths old now and of course this was his first Christmas. We had the pleasure of being with him along with his Mommy, Daddy, and his Uncle Steve. And we did break a little tradition in that this was the first Christmas that wasn't at our house in quite some time. And you know what? It was just as good!

Dottie's big gift... mine too! 39 High Ridge Ct., Willow Spring, NC 27592.
