My name is Dax Andrew Chapman and this is my story. It begins on May 16th, 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri at 9:04 p.m. I started out my life very young. I am very handsome but some may say I have a baby face but I believe it is because I haven't been out in the sun very much.... at least not yet. When I got here I did cry a little, because I was very happy but just like my Daddy said "he cries just enough, not too much". I was happy because I got to see my Mommy and Daddy for the first time. I had heard them speak to me and sing to me but I was really excited about finally meeting them, and I was not disappointed. There are really nice! They hugged me and kissed me and wrapped me in some warm blankets. I thought how cool is this? They just met me and they love me this much already! I found out a few other interesting things from a cute nurse down at the nursery, like I was 8lbs, 9oz and 22 inches long. And oh yeah, the origin of my name "Dax" is a probably French. There is a town in southwestern France that I'd like to visit someday. And "Dax" also means "Leader". Sweet huh? More about me later. |
