Dottie has never put the kids gifts out while they are awake, she always waits for them to go to be bed first, so that Santa can put the gifts out. I think the kids caught on maybe 15 years ago but Dottie refuses to "not believe" so she will hear the bell ring forever. See the Polar Express movie for more details. |

| Some gift were "spicy" and some were "cool" and some were even a surprise. Aaron got some shades and I got a laser mouse. Palm pilots to keep us organized and books that entertain. |

Dottie gets into the act and Scout checks for the pile for her gifts too. We got "high fives" for the wine bottle opener and Lisa is all smiles with her new Coach bag. |

Things can be a little different when you have a detective for a son-in-law. Maybe this can be our Christmas card next year, it will have an urban feel to it, if I'd would have only had them stand in front of the tree.
