Holiday Season 2005

Although it started snowing here in November and Dottie has been playing Christmas music since well before Thanksgiving, Christmas is always over in a flash. Again, like every year before the Holiday Season comes and goes too fast around the Zeller house. We wished there was a way to make it last just a little longer.
It was a great year for us filled with some great times like Lisa and Aaron's wedding and our St. Croix vacation so we are very thankful for all the good fortune we have had. We can only hope that 2006 is as good or better than
2005 for all of our family and friends. So enjoy a few pictures from our Holidays.

We wanted to make sure we had plenty of red wine to go around over Christmas so we tapped into a 5L bottle of Dom Romos. We also enjoyed the first Rochester visit of our grand doggy Scout. She was so good and seem to sense the spirit of Snookie. She even looks like and acts like a bigger Snookie sometimes which was really a comforting feeling for us. Some last minute gift prep, Scout gave her approval of all the gifts and a picture of the tree.
Here's a few pictures taken before Christmas Eve Mass. We were all getting a little silly wondering why Aaron looked so tall and we all looked so short ... especially Dottie. Maybe the red wine had something to do with the illusion? After Mass we always have a traditional meal of pierogis, this year we also had some homemade kielbasa.
Looking at Aaron and Lisa reminds me of all the excitment of last Christmas Eve when he proposed to Lisa. Man time flies. Next up is Christmas morning and we get to see what Santa left for us. Can't wait to open some gifts and check out the stockings.
