Wine Tour 2004 - Keuka Lake Wine Trail

This years wine tour took us back to some of our favorite wineries. Smaller Keuka Lake doesn't have as many wineries as Seneca for example, but we always enjoy our stops at Dr. Franks, Bully Hill, and Hunt Country. We wanted to start early and be back in time for dinner downtown, so Keuka lake really fit our plans this year. We did make a quick stop at Belhurst Castle to see how their winery turned out and all we can say about the place is "too snobby"! They wanted $2.50 for a tasting and their wine was expensive. I can only hope that this doesn't catch on and the rest of the wineries start charging more for tasting. Avoid the Belhurst Winery, let's not pay for the new addition $2.50 at a time out of our pockets!

Our first purchase ... 1000 gallons of Merlot!
