Labor Day Weekend Trip to Balamer, Merlin hon!

We thought we would do something a little different this year than past Labor Day Weekends on the deck. Dot and I thought that it would be cool to take our New York friends down to Baltimore, Maryland and let them experience some of "our" local culture. You know hon! Some crabs, cheese steaks, scrapple, listening to dem O's, maybe a Natty Bo or 2, and some Goetze's carmels, and some UTZ chips, finishing it all up with some Berger cookies. We could also swing by Poe's grave, the Babe Ruth house and the Block and give them a real glimpse of history!

Our rental van in front of the Heisey Hotel Friday afternoon after a stop at Ronnie's for cheap booze.

First on the agenda ... hit the pool.

A few drinks by the pool

We are all gathered around listening to Rick tell Baltimore stories

later that night our favorite place for cheese steak subs Pizza John's

chowin' down some cheese steaks

more chowin' down some cheese steaks

Last stop was the Artic Circle for some ice creme and shakes
