Summer Vacation 2004 really was in 3 chapters. Chapter 1 is "Rick's Pool/July 4th/Zeller's are here all-inclusive combo party". Then Chapter 2, which is the "Our Trip to St. Martin/St. Maarten" adventure. Then Chapter 3, the "Return to Maryland, the Winding Down and Visiting With the Kids Part". So I changed the title of these web pages to Summer Vacation 2004... seems to fit better with all the pictures. I don't want to confuse anyone viewing these pages in France or Holland about what St. Martin really looks like!

We where glad that my brother and his family were able to attend the party this year. Lisa always has a good time with Courtney and Ashley. I cooked a sizable chunk-o-beef this year on the ol'webber. I had marinated the beef in Chiavetta's and it smell soooooo good cooking. To say it went fast would be sort of an understatement. There was this time and space continuum the moment I removed it from the grill and pronounced it "done". Time sort of sped up and there were flashes of light. Piranha also comes to mind. Next time I'll have to cook a side!

Dottie's sister and her family made the party as well so for the Heisey's and the Zeller's a good portion of both our familys were there. Also a lot of our old neighbors and friends made the party a very special event. We hope to do it all again next year! BTW I took about 575 pictures on our vacation. These pages will only contain a fraction of them... I can hear the "thank you's". You are not off the hook - we will be around to all of you with the album to suffer through ..... IT'S MY JOB. |
