We took a trip by boat to the "Island of Women" where we could shop for gold and silver. The town was the first real look into the Mexican way of life outside Cancun. It was really different from Cancun and certainly lack the mucho tourist dollar that Cancun sees on a daily basis but is typical for the small Caribbean towns we have seen before. |
