Cancun Family Vacation 2003 - 1 of 6

This year's vacation included the kids for the first time in a few years. We felt that we had something to celebrate with Lisa and Steve graduating from college and frankly they were getting tired of seeing what a wonderful time we were having without them. So this year we decided to go to Cancun where the kids would have a great time and still leave the parents alone a little to relax and enjoy the time away from work. I think this was accomplished for the most part. I think the boys may have some lapses of memory as to what they did on a daily basis but all in all this went down as one of the "times of your life".

It starts out with a 4:30am limo ride to BWI. We thought the price was good but we were a little taken back by the Guana Airlines sign - luckly it was not for us. Lisa got a little "too excited" on the plane and found the air sickness back comforting???
You can see the Yucatan peninsula with it's white sand beaches from the air as we approach the huge, ulta-modern, Cancun Airport - cattle should have it this good ... moi fancy!

Cancun Palace was our hotel and it was very nice. A very clean
and a very well run hotel. Everyone was very nice and we were treated
like royality. No problem with water at this hotel, all the water is purfied.
This is the view from our room, note our hot tub! Let's take a closer
look at our location at the pool.
Legend:
#1 = our "prime location" - drink serving waitress went by every 15 min at this location.
F = Food available in these areas 18 hrs per day.
B = Bars - 2 of the many many bars, I hardly ever seen them close.
O = Observation Area - every female heading to the beach passes over this bridge.
E = Entertainment Area - started at 10am everyday.
